Our annual pay should be based on something less subjective than the opinion of a supervisor. suggestion: 50% of appraisal determined by supervisor 50% by more objective factors such as: # of college credits, # of different series with experience (eg. GS-802-9, GS-1083-9, GS-301-9) or # of skill codes, # of AFIT (air force institute of technology) courses or other formal training completed. If no objective factors are considered, than all that is being accomplished is just shifting more power to management, and there will really be no improvement to the workforce.
