I am 100% for a pay for performance based system. However, I am concerned that the system will not have adequate checks and balances in place. I have no confidence in my supervisor or his supervisor (my senior rater) to ensure that performance evaluations are fair and objective. There is too much of the good old boy network in place in our organization, and I'm afraid that the status quo will endure.
