Page 7559 Pay and Pay Administration - Subpart C First Paragraph under National Security Compensation Comparability "to the maiximum extent possibe" allows a subjective determination. How will Step increases be handled? If you are placed under NSPS with an upcoming step increase due, will you receive that increase prior to the switchover? For example: If I am a GS-9 Step 2 and the step increase to Step 3 is due in March, what happens if I'm converted to NSPS in Jan? Pay needs to adjusted for a 10 month percentage of what your pay would be with the increase or grant the Step increase prior to change over?
