Performance Management - Subpart D Page 7562 One feedback session per year is not enough when unsatisfactory or below average performance is observed. Monthly performance sessions should be instituted and second level supervisors need to be brought into the picture. Seperate meetings with supervisors and second levels should be administered. Then an established arbitrator used for final decisions affecting pay when no increase is suggested. A poor supervisor or one with a vendetta could easily ruin a career without guidelines.
