Process: Guiding Principles and Key Performance Parameters, pg 7555 “Agile and responsive: Workforce can be easily sized, shaped, and deployed to meet changing mission requirements.” Concerns - What exactly does “easily deployed” mean for a civilian? Are you moving me to a different office? A different building? A different state? A different country? If the answer to the last two is yes, then are you planning to pay for my move? Will you pay for my house? For example, my house in DE cost me $150K, but in northern CA (Travis AFB area), it would run in the $450K range. I can’t afford that difference, so are you willing to pay the difference? Perhaps the reason the military pays the Basic Allowance for Housing is because they move their people around so much. If you’re planning the same for civil service, shouldn’t a similar allowance be paid to us? And it shouldn’t be based on performance/contributions since the military version isn’t.
