What protections are set in place to protect government workers against management abuse? I do not see that there are any provided. Where is the training for management to complete this type of assessments? They need extensive training to accomplish this much of a restructure in the system. As I understand they do not receive training. How is this a fair system if management is not trained and employees do not know what their duties are. Job descriptions give you that guidance, extra duties covered under "other duties as assigned." Under this new system if you have a supervisor who does not like you, whether you are a good employee or not, they can really hurt you financially. From someone that has been the darling employee as well as the devil employee under different supervisors, I know of one supervisor that could have hurt me badly under this system and would have for pure meaness. Where is the protection from this type of action. It appears the law suits will be numerous!
