Pay Banding: I have been a civilian employee for over fifteen (15) years. I am a Licensed Practical Nurse, but since Robins A.F Base doen not hire LPN's I work as a Medical Instrument Technician. I was hired as a GS-5 with no chance of promotion. I have always gotten good evaluations but have never been given a WithINGrade Step increase. My Supervisor stated to me that she did not know what I was talking about even though she has received several. How am I to think that this person will be fair to me when the new process goes into place? The system we have now is not perfect, but I really feel that to change will do a great disservice to loyal employees who work hard and take pride in what we do. I asked for a Desk Audit and was told by the auditor that he had never seen management so against it's employees as the clinic in which I work. The new system will only make it worsr in my opinion. I AM AGAINST THE CHANGES. Some change is good ,but NOT THIS ONE.
