Adverse Actions Public employment has historically provided an employment option for those people who are decent folks but for whatever reason just aren't productive enough and/or meticulous enough to pass the muster in the private sector. Now, thanks in part to the government unions' griping for equal pay, we see what that reaps! My comments surely won't derail this personally sorrowful transition, but you might just pause and think that giving people like the above gainful employment is preferable to firing them and then watching them go right on the public dole, and then maybe on to jail after that, as their lives collapse as a result of not finding a place that will employ them. Hopefully, for my sake, the rest of the Federal Government will not follow your misguided lead. Apart from adverse actions, the rest of the plan looks okay. I don't mind so much being paid a little less for less work, but at least provide me a place where I can do what I can!
