In regards to the accountability of Management in their ability to remain fair and equable in the administration of the performance based system, Red River Army Depot has been under a yearly rating system for the employees that required all employees to receive the same ratings under group performance standards since 1995. This method removed the supervisors from the process and eliminated the favoritism, cronyism, and the plain old brother-in-law methods of rating empoylees on not performance but on the relationships employees had with their supervisors. The proposed changes to this system will once again place the supervisors in a position to reward their cronies based on relationships and not performance. How will the new system hold these individuals accountable for their actions, and what recourse will an employee have to dispute their rating?
