The exact crosswalk of General Schedule grades to new pay-bands needs to be explicitly defined. What is shown in the proposal as published is notional and does not tell an employee exactly where he or she will be placed in this new system. For example, if you are currently a GS-0301-12, you will become a XX-0301-III under this new system. Or if you are a GS-0801-14, you will become a XX-0801-IV under this new system.
