What does it means that Veteran Preference will be retained? Veteran Preference should remain the same. Is it true that a person with less than three years of service could avoid a RIF because they have a good performance record versus a disabled veteran with a good performance record? What message are you sending to veterans. I did not serve my time in Desert Storm to be treated like a substandard employee in the government. Is it true that management would have total control over an employee pay? Is it true that I could be working along side of my coworker doing the same job and get paid less? How come the unions is not involved with this process? Why is the program being challenge in court? Who is going to protect our rights?
