I have concerns regarding the process of raises. I work in an admin environment where duties vary in many different directions. If I have been doing the job for a number of years, and become proficient in required duties, and perform at a good/high level, what will enable me to advance pay wise, if I am already at the highest level for admin duties. What can an admin person do, that is not a admin requirement? How can anyone perform beyond their scope of job description? Who will have time to perform outside of regular job duties, when so much has been added to the performance plate? I also feel "years in service" should be accounted for somewhere in the process.
