i am a civil service employee and have devoted some years in the civil service. did my job to the best of my ability. have not received the promotion that was promised to me in 1995 after completeting a course in a specialized field.i have been demoted from lpn to nurse technician even thou i yet am licensed. only get a cost of livining raise. barley making it every other pay day. now you all want to cut the little man's pay and put us further in poverty. where is my freedom.what if i have an employer that does not like anything you do or just do not care about my lively hood and it have nothing to do with my work abilities and give me abad evaluation. it will be the same as you all are doing to the federal workers. putting us in poverty while you are still rich and getting richer. where is freedom. where is the christian value. love thy neighbor as thy self . how would you feel if you cannot pay your rent,your car is repossed and can't feed yourself. where is my freedom.what do you know about poverty? search your hearts and see if you want to be put in this position because that is where you are putting us. where is our freedom? think on this. is this a christian way.
