This sounds like the shell game the Clinton era did with the Transient Alert personnel, cut their pay, privatize and use the savings to create a Liason position with the military thereby Saving the tax payers money by shrinking the Federal work force and increasing the private sector jobs in America. Now it's time to screw over the rest of the technician work force because of a bunch of politicians that don't have to get dirty keeping our aircraft flying can think of these great ways to save money.
