If it is done as stated and fairly I think it is a great idea and long overdue. Having worked for the DOD for 23 years I can't perceive how anything will be able to be accomplished with EEO, Unions, and probably the ACLU blocking any type of change. The power structures that have been created by the government will I'm sure be unwilling to give up any ground gained and all fingers will point at the republican party. A-76 and BRAC have already affected me three times in the last 8 years at two different duty stations so I will be happy just to keep a job for the next seven years. If I am able to stay employed and see these changes I will be able to go into retirement a happy and proud citizen. This comment is a result of our union encouraging us via system broadcact email to comment but I don't think they are expecting people to send encouraging responses. Brace yourselves for the union onslought.
