I'm concerned with Pay Banding and it's limitations. Under the AcqDemo Pay Band there is no explanation as to what happens with those recieving a Special Salery Rate (SSR). My occupational series is a GS-2152-13 Step 5, Air Traffic Controller recieving a 25% SSR. That puts my base pay above that of a GS-14. My occupational series grade would fall under the AcqDem NH-III but my base pay would well exceeed the pay limitation for that band. I'm concerned that I will be confined to a pay band that will already be max'ed out and can never expect another pay raise to my base pay. Will I be stuck in a NH III with no room for pay growth or will my current base pay, which includes 25% SSR, drive my pay band into the NH IV band which would afford pay raises but not a correct conversion from my current GS-13?
