I would like to respond to NSPS. I have been serving my country since October 1979 both as an enlisted soldier and a civil service employee. I have seen our benefits crushed to almost nothing. Each president takes more and more from the government employees. I remember when it was an honor to serve my country as a soldier and a civil service employee and now it is a shame that we are being thrown out like trash. The fact that I was a cold war vet and was slapped on the behind and told to have a nice day when I was honorably discharged after 6 years with nothing was bad enough. Now you are telling me that my military time will mean nothing? I think this issue needs to be reviewed. If you take a look at all of the government employees now serving their country you will find out at least 75% of them service in the military. I think we deserve some respect and that we should have veteran's preferences. Sincerely, Tina M Crothers
