The Performance Management process is absurd!! There are too many in-experienced TSgts and MSgts with a high turnover rate, in AETC training supervisor positions, to ever consider that the ratings will be fair. Just look at the overinflated EPRs. The EPR system did not fix the APR system and this NSPS will not fix what is currently working to some degree. Civilian leadership bias is strong towards "favorites" and not job dedication and ability. Things will only get worse and quality of training will falter. If you want to "weed out" the bad then use the existing civilian rating system to send someone packing. And why all of the sudden is the union being limited in their abilities to protect? Because you know that there are not enough qualified and fair supervisors out there to make this thing work right.
