I was a federal employee for over twenty years before i lost my job to a contractor. I did my job very well and was injuired several times, and continued to do my job very well. I had to fight the system before i could get back into the federal system. I was picked over by the federal system and supervisors who had friends that they wanted to hire. I feel that every federal enployee should be treated the same know matter what. Any federal employee who want to outperform other employee, i believe he/she is only doing it to look good. The " GOOD OLD BOY" system will only make employees loose respect and trust for one another. The cost of living is going up every day, and everybody need extry money to raise there family and make ends meet. My job title now is a RANGE CONTROLLER. Safety is number one with my job, and all soldiers and civilians in my scop of work is depending on me. Since my job is very hi-tech, and so many people are depending on me, should i be rewarded. Congress can give themselves a big raise and i don't have any say so. So why should i be denieded a raise by my supervisor. As long as i come to work everyday and do my job, i thought that is what my supervisor wanted. If any employee wants to be bought and payed for, then he/she wants to be a GOOD OLD BOY/GIRL.
