Subpart A sec 9901.344(b) states that an employee who receives an EPI will be expected to maintain that extraordinarly high level of performance in the future. Does receiving an EPI put an employee at risk in the future for not meeting a performance requirement if the employee is not able (possibly for reasons beyond his control) to continue the extraordinarily high performance level?
