Please reference the Federal Register dated Feb 14, 2005, page 7559, paragraph subtitled National Security Compensation Comparability. What exactly, in laymans terms, does this mean? Between Fiscal Years 2004 through 2008 will DoD workers under NSPS still get a longevity increase? What about employees who are at the maximum longevity and no longer would get an increase under the GS system? Do these people get some type of compensation for pay increases?
