I don't think the new pay system will work fair for everyone, if a supervisor don't like a person, that person will not receive a merit raise equal to persons they like regardless of job performace. I feel most DOD civilans will leave the system before being deployed overseas any where. We are not in the same pay brackett and don't get the medical and leave benefits the active duty does, we're not considered 24-7, so we shouldn't be treated as such with out the benefits that go along with it. I feel it's wrong to take our barganing rights away. When this happens there won't be anyone to make sure the problems that arise are handled fairly. There won't be a mediator between staff and admininstration and they'll be able to do as they please. They'll be able to apply their own rules.
