Comments:
I do not believe that this system is in the best interest of federal employees many of whom have worked long and hard to get the step increases and higher wages. Myself, I am a GS13, step 8 and have been in the Federal Service for 18 years. I assume under this new system that my pay of $82,000.00 could actually be reduced if I do not get the highest rating and supervisor recommendation for the higher pay band. I believe that those in the system for as long as I should be grandfathered or be allowed to keep the step increases until they reach step 10 and then keep that amount of pay and do not allow supervisors to reduce it. If you can still stop or get the persons in the system over 15 years ganndfathered, then do so. Thank You. Dennis Menard
