Comments:
I am not a "union" person. I hate unions. Nevertheless, in my review of the new personnel system, I find I take issue with the transferring of personnel to support the mission. There are no restrictions or limits as to where. I am young, educated, well trained, hard working and welcome challenges. I work for the DOD because I believe in what I do and know that I support the War Fighters. I have stayed with my job because I feel satisfied and eventhough for the most part, management is not receptive to comments. I enjoy being close to home and feel that this is another reason why I am successful in my position. The New DOD policy of placing people where they are needed is fine if it is in the somewhat same geographical area but as stated there are no parameters....I urge you to review these policies and consider being more clear and concise.
