I know this is a very bad system to change to. This new system will keep the good ole boy/favortism policy alive and well! There will be even more back stabbing and kissing-up to the boss for personal gain. To give my supervisor THAT MUCH POWER over my pay and me is just unthinkable! I am an outstanding employee not by my words but indicated in writing by my peers for many, many many years. However to date, have not received one award from my supervisor. My supervisor delegates EVERYTHING out to her employees, doesn't know her job or our jobs at all, NEVER helps her employees solve any problems or assist with anything and TALKS DOWN to us with NO RESPECT. If ever you disagree with her decisions, watch out! she'll somehow get back at you. As they say, the woman's scorn! She believes her word is God's word. The government should eliminate her job and save some money! And this is the person you want to determine my pay and future?? Are you nuts?! I guess I should be referring to my supervisor as MASTER when this new system goes into effect. Instead of revamping the whole system, how about only changing the procedures on how to get rid of bad employees; giving clear cut step by step rules that all supervisors can follow. Yes, I realize that there are some bad employees out there and this new system will make it easier to get rid of them. However, this new system will also do more harm than good for the ones that already do their jobs well. There will be NO such feeling as teamwork to get the mission done because bottom line is, if the supervisor doesn't like you no matter how hard you work or how good you are, she has the last say that will hit you hard in the pocket book. Also, how can any office get the creative thinking flowing with a supervisor that does not tolerate disagreement with her rules? No need to brainstorm for the good of the mission; just say YES MA'AM!
