When I took a job in the Federal Service 27 years ago it was with the understanding of the current personnel system with all of its rules. Changing from what I signed on and agreed to for employment is in my opinion a violation and disrespect on the Governments part to me and thousands of other DOD employees who did the same. There is not one part of the proposed National Security Personnel System that I agree on or believe that it has the employee's best interest at heart. The Government has found a way to not only save money but also can now treat civilian employees like the military but without equally treating to include training them the same. Let new employees come in under a new personnel system and any current employees that would like to willingly convert go to this new system. However, for current employees it is a violation of their human rights.
