The labor relations explaination is a clear attempt to minimize, if not eliminate the union. Management is clearly not concerned about employee treatment here. This area is of grave concern to me. The present system at least provides for employees to challenge unfair situations. Why is management so concerned about having total control? Since when has a manager/supervisor not supposed to look out for their people in the work place? Probably since Donald Rumsfeld. Where is management's accountability here? I'm not seeing that they answer to anyone in this new system. The "good old boy/gal will truly become even worse under this mindset. If management had spent this much time fixing the present system, taxpayers wouldn't be burdened with yet another cost of the governement spending money on a system that will most likely generate more problems than it will fix.
