I have 2 issues that concern me about the conversion of the Civil Service to NSPS that I would like to express from everything I have read thus far these issues have not been addressed as yet: 1. The annual raise authorized by the President for Military and Government Workers should not go into the general Band Pool but should be separate and applied to everyone equally. 2. Career Ladder positions ie...hired as a GS-11/12 and this was an automatic promotion to take effect in the middle of July and the conversion takes place the 1st of July what would happen with the promotion. A promotion from GS-11 Step 1 to GS-12 Step 1 is a $10,000 a year raise. I do not see a raise that large under the NSPS system and that would be very unfair for instances like that not to be taken into consideration.
