Comments:
The Science and Technology Reinvention Laboratory Personnel Demonstration Project allows for adjustments (increases to base pay with a pre-established range) and differentials (cash incentives with a pre-established range) to be used in further compensating supervisors and team leaders in situations where salary inequities may exist (same pay band as subordinates) and/or exemplary supervisory or team leader performance has been demonstrated and warrants additional compensation. From my understanding, there will be no team leader positions under NSPS. However, it would be prudent to allow supervisors the ability to receive compensation for reasons listed above. Currently, the Acquisition Demo Project does not allow for such authorities.
