After reading NSPS I have found only two references to the Title 32 Dual Status National Guard Technicians (Air and Army). Are DoD and OPM going to rewrite this regulation to address us? I really don’t see the need for NSPS in the Title 32 arena. DoD already has us over the barrel. We have to serve in the National Guard to keep our civilian jobs. We have to wear a military uniform to work and therefore abide by military regulations while in civilian status, (Dress and appearance, height and weight standards, customs and courtesies, etc.), which is unconstitutional. With the curtailment of our rights to collective bargaining what is next Mr. Rumsfeld? Are we to be deployed overseas in civilian technician status? NSPS is just a method to militarize all DoD employees.
