Does the NSPS focus on performance negate the association of salary level to job description position requirements? If the employee feels the supervisor has added enough responsibilities to his position to qualify as deserving of more pay, what is the process to elevate the position to a higher pay band or increase the pay amount with in the pay band? Will desktop audits to evaluate responsibilities and workload associated with a position and to ensure uniformity and consistency be available to regrade/reclassify positions upon employee request? What recourse will the employee have if he disagrees with the supervisor's annual performance assessment? Recommend you establish detailed procedures because I suspect many people will disagree with less than stellar evaluations when money is at stake and resolving these issues could take significant managerial resources.
