The proposed legislation to change our present work and hiring structure is absurd. You might attract new workers, but they won't stay long. Besides losing most of the experienced employees, the younger ones (new hires) will not be motivated to stay on, especially without job security or a reasonable wage after the first year or so, if they stay that long. The only thing that this system will promote is even more favoritism than there is now. Some employees would never get raises no matter how good a worker they were, because the Boss doesn't like them for whatever reason. And we all know personality conflicts exist no matter where you work. The only thing that protects employees now is your unions. Even as restricted as the unions are in federal government they still do a lot of good protecting the employees from mismanagement. I urge you not even consider this legislation as it will do much more harm than good.
