I am currently assigned to RAF Menwith Hill Station for approximately 16 months. Prior to this assignment I was overseas in different locations, moving on the average of every two years, always progressing within my career field, and moving for the good of the government. My dilema is that even though I have accrued home leave, I am not eligilble to take it until two years on station, and not the 30 days previously accrued. This is a situtation that should be addressed in the new personnel system, as an unfair practice--we should be able to use the leave we earned...at least one year on station, of course with supervisory approval, or allow this to be waivered by local commander.
