There is too much room for supervisors to give awards to favorite people and not enough recourse for the employees. If you supervisor doesn't care for a person it does not matter what their job performance would be. They have too much power. We have seen this in the past and this will only make it worse. The employees need to be able to contest what the supervisor can do to them when it is unfair. and i don't see this as anything as unfair to us.
