I was wondering how the employees on the accelerated pay program are going to be advanced in the NSPS system. When I came in I was promised that I would go from a GS 7 to a GS 12 if I met all the requirements. I am currently at a GS 11 and am supposed to be at a GS 12 next year at this time. If the NSPS system goes through are the engineers that came in on the accelerated pay program going to get the equivalent pay increases if we meet the critieria that we had to meet previously. It seems to me that management is going to get a set amount of money and the increase from a GS 11 to a GS 12 is significant and if they are limited to this set amout of money to reward all the employees they may not have enough for the engineers in the accelerated pay program to get the advancements they were promised even if the meet the requirements or even go beyond them. What is going to be done about this?
