When one works in a small town where everybody on the installation is related in one way or the other, it's hard to imagine that an outsider will be treated equally toward advancements. It's already hard for Blacks still in the south. God Bless the person who is not liked by their supervisor. I have held a position where I gave all I had. The work load was tremendous but I singlehandely kept up to date with minimal errors. I worked through lunch, worked very little overtime to keep up and yet I still was not recognized. After leaving this position, the work was divided between three people. Not only that, I got an average performance appraisal. I still get calls today from those persons asking for help and how I did it all. I trained three people who got promoted to the very position I applied for, yet I was told that I didn't qualify. This is a perfect example of not being treated fairly by management. How can you ensure that equal justice will be given to all?
