Under classification the pay banding system appears to align positions with local market conditions. As a National Guard Technician (Title 32), I am unaware of any local market for several positions at my current workplace. Without specific information about how pay rates would be set in these circumstances, I cannot properly respond during the available comment period. I also believe a National Guard Technician should be compensated for a position requiring military assignment and potential deployment. The local market would not reflect this.
