In reference to Pay Bands According to the information I have received, pay banding is slated to start in my directorate in July 2006. To start pay banding in July guarentees individuals who are due step increases from January-June 2006 to receive them; however, individuals who would have received step increases from July-December 2006 will not and it will up to the supervisor whether they get a pay increase. It would be more fair to all personnel to start pay banding at the beginning of the calender year, then in the middle of the year.
