page 7564 workforce shaping - Subpart F The second sentence reads "The proposed regulations retain the existing veterans' preference in reduction in force (RIF)." My understanding of the present process is to divide folks up into career groups - career or conditional. Then divide each group up by veterans status, 30% disabled vets, 5% vets and non vets. Then under those 3 groups, tenure is figured. What is described on page 7589 is different from that. Please remove this sentence on page 7564.
