Rules and Regulations are you tying to Ram down the throats of the civilian workforces? You are trying to take away any rights and benefits we have earned at such a high cost over the years. Many of us are Veterans and have done our time in hell and do not wilsh to be put in harms way on your wish and whimsy. I do not consider myself a deployable asset, at your beck and call, to be put in immanent danger by being deployed to war zones to do the job I have spent the better part of my life performing for this government as a civil servant. I do not wish to have the few bargaining rights I have as a civil servant further curtailed by these new proposed rules and regulations. Someone must show me exactly how these new standards are going to improve the quality of service DOD is receiving from the civil servants under the current sets of rules and regulations this organization has been using since WWII. Do not try to justify these sweeping changes in the name of the War On Terrorism since 9-1-1. We have successfully supported our War Fighters for approximately 60 years. We have enough Rules and Regulations and if they are applied and utilized correctly, they will surely ensure that our National Security and our War Fighters receive the absolute best products and support anyone in the World could possibly provide. I do not want my rights to appeals and protection of my employment in the hands of some board that has no idea of what my job entails. I do not want some board that knows nothing of me except what some Supervisor that might have a chip on his shoulder for me, might tell them , to determine if I was qualified to receive my next pay raise or promotion. I do not want to be told "it's my way or the highway" if I do not want to be deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan or Iran or Syria or whatever the next theater of war might be. I do not wish to have my bargaining rights curtailed. I do not wish to have my right to appeal the decision of some higher up. I do not wish to have my many years of seniority as a true and honest citizen and civil servant ignored when it comes to keeping my job or being forced out by some board that knows only the information"currently submitted" by a possibly hostile supervisor or superior. In other words, I do not want the new NSPS system of Rules and Regulations to delegate my future.
