I think this new personnel system stinks. Rumsfield wants to privatize DOD. The system does not need an over haul, but it needs competent people to enforce the requlations. What Rumsfield wants to implement will cost the government millions of dollars in the future with law suits. He basically wants to disband the agency. In my opinion,because their are to many minorities making a decent living, and more than likely he promise or is the process of contracting the work out, but before he authorize the contracts, he must dismantle the civil service regulations. How can senior management, senate, and congress go along with this sham unless they have also been brought out by special interest groups? I am very angry that congress, the senate and the current administraation does not care about working class people. You are going have shootings on jobs, fights, because many supervisor will abuse their authority and the code of fereral regulationsand the union are in place to protected many good workers from being emotional abused and mistreated. This also applies to managers as well. Go right ahead an be stupid and you will regret going along with Rumfield and his gang. Rumsfields has one foot in the coffin and the other foot is not far behind. How can congress and the senate be so stupid and fall for this. I am tired this administration using terrorism as an excuse. I am a black women living in the hood and I face terroism every from drug dealers and their drive by shootings. Stop selling the american worker out bottom line.
