This new plan being proposed is very unfair as it leaves too much in the hands of the supervisors. There are so many of them that have their favorites already that the ones that aren't in the group will be left out in the cold. It doesn't look as if there is anything proposed to have in place to monitor this either. Also, I don't understand why getting step increases for longevity is so bad anyway. It's not as if we are getting such a huge amount and it takes time to get certain steps. For the first 3 or 4 it happens within a year and then you must wait two years for some of the others. So, how is this such an unfair system to have. Someone needs to review what they propose and consider the total human aspect involved. Human as I mentioned with any supervisor having the last say and so much control is really a bad idea.
