I do not think pay banding is such a bad idea however,leaving your career and the ammount of money you make to support your family in a supervisors hands is outrageous! These supervisors do not possess the skills to make judgement calls on personel. Here at Tinker education means nothing! What about the people who go to school and get their degrees and yet someone with no degree gets the higher position. It is the good ole boy system at work. That is one reason pay banding will be resisted. We need an overhaul of the system and I do agree with that however,doing it in the manner suggested by Mr. Rumsfield and the OPM is wrong.To take away the rights of the government worker is wrong!
