I know the Civil Service needed revamping, it was old...but this is not the answer. I see no evidence of how this change is going to improve National Secuity of my country!! And as for deploying civilians, that is so pathetic. If I wanted to be on active duty and go wherever my country needed me.... I would have joined the Armed Services...I'm a civilian and I support my country right here doing very critical work for the soldier/sailor/airman in the field...and am very proud of that. But I in no way want to go to a war zone and be a part of it that way. How exactly does this improve National Security of my country? You know this country has come along way with employees rights and treating them with respect and dignaty. But this plan is taking us back to the dark ages...managers can do with the employee whatever they want to...with no limits or rules. And this is supposed to make morale better, this is supposed to make my country more secure...HOW???? I am so disappointed in what is happening with the new plan and so ashamed that my country wants to treat it's workers that poorly...they would not want private industry to treat their employees this way...or would they? Are we going backwards more than I thought? I see no way this will make our government work better, no way this will improve the security of my country or make us safer...it's just a way for managers to do what they want with employees they like or don't like....how far backwards have we gone. And what does this say for our countries leadership!!!?? Not much in my opinion.!!
