Docket# NSPS-2005-001, Performance Management, Subpart D. As is currently practiced supervisor's have not taken the initiative to do a "PIP" (Perfomance improvement Plan) as it is too much work for them. I hope this improves with the new NSPS as it is very necessary and managers should be held accountable for how effectively they use the tools provided by NSPS.As is currently practiced I hope that managers will be fair in this aspect to all employes and not only their "buddies" as is being practiced currently. S 9901.611. The guidelines for RIF procedures will most likey be as is currently (Friends and relatives will be retained ).This is very prevailant currently in DOD (Tobyhanna Army Depot ) and will intensify with this NSPS. I understand that pay for performance makes sense but it is currently being practiced now for the most part but at least we now have appeal rights. Please don't demoralize us and take away our rights to stand up for ourselves as human beings and workers.
