Page 7561, Column 1, Initial Conversion, First sentence should be amended to add "or if serving in a Temporary Promotion, the temporary position of record." On the same page, just below this section, the Temporary Promotion paragraph should be removed. Page 7559, column 2, Pay and Pay Administration indicates employee compensation under NSPS will not be less than if they had not been converted to NSPS. Without the implementation of NSPS, an employee serving in a temporary promotion would more than likely be allowed to serve the designated time. Returning the employee to their official position would result in loss of pay.
