I have been under the Lab Demo experiment for almost as long as it has been in existence. I have already experienced some of the behaviors that some of the comments on the website brought up. Contractor or government, it makes no difference, the treatment, the result is the same. Feedback sessions have been ignored. It is easy under the Lab Demo system, and will be easy under the new NSPS system for bad supervisors to remain in their positions of power. One of the reasons I came to the government under the old system was that it was different than the political pay system one sees in most outside organizations. That was a good thing, because one knew exactly where one stood. The same pay problem exists under Lab Demo as the old system. Pay hasn't increased; Broadband III personnel are still paid the same as GS/GM 14 personnel. It is just called something different. I have had jobs both inside and outside the government. Going to a system that more closely mimicks industry is not going to help matters. The difference was the attraction.
