Why are you keeping Veterans Preference Principles? I believe Veterans should compete for jobs on their own merits. They do so in the private sector. A retired Veteran who retires from Civil Service receives two paychecks from the federal government. A retired Civil Servant can't even receive a full paycheck from Social Security.
