Pay How, after working for 27 plus years, am I to project my retirement? How is an employee to project future earnings without a promotional chart? Are the pay increases for performance in pre determined amounts? Are they left up to the superviser? How often do they occur? Will this system create hate and discontent amoung employees. Employees already complain about what others earn and how they work. It seems that the superviser will have to be constantly aware of all their employees to make these decisions. Which means they can't do their own jobs. This is not the current situation here. My superviser has no idea of my work, other than what's on paper. Situations currently exist where friendships between certain employees and their supervisers are much greater than with others, how are you going to keep this out of the promotional arena? I believe this system is being implimented under the quise of national security. I don't see the corrolation between the two. I think the govt. finally realized the upcoming mass retirements and had to figure out a way to intice new employees to replace them.
