After 20 years of dedicated Government service I could be layed off with virutually no protection if the GS and Wage Grade systems are eliminated. Luckily for me, my Supervisor is very appreciative and fair. However, many employees do not have that luxury when it will come time to get fair pay raises from their Supervisor. There will be complete lack of uniformity in how pay for performance raises are done across the US. Tell me how that is a fair system! I can definitely see discrimination suits being filed and rightfully so!
